Tip #3: Start from the ground up
That ground layer of your home is extremely important to curb appeal. Having your lawn, walkways, and driveways looking refreshed can really bring new life to your home.
Get that lawn green again:
Keeping a beautifully green lawn can sometimes be difficult but it will add such a great level of wow factor if you give it some TLC. There are many things you can do to refresh your lawn; It all depends on the condition of your current grass. Some lawns may just take killing off those weeds to look refreshed but for others it may be time to start from scratch and re-sod or reseed your lawn. No matter the condition of your current lawn giving it some love can really add to the appearance of your home.
Refresh your driveway and walkways:
Last week we talked about adding new walkways to your home but if you already have one, here is a way you can give it a full refreshed look, pressure washing. Pressure washing can bring your dark dingy walkways and driveway back to life and give you a reason to smile every time you pull into the driveway. It is a task over looked much of the time but the impact it can have on your over all home appearance is immense.
Update your planter beds:
Fresh new plants and some new mulch can go a long way to renew the appeal of your home. Create a border around your beds to give it a finished and put together look. Trimming up tree branches that are blocking the view of your home is also a great way to enhance curb appeal. Add landscape lighting to create the finished look of your yard and also let you enjoy those fresh new planter beds at night.
